Menstrual Hygiene Day is an annual awareness day on May 28 to highlight the importance of good menstrual hygiene management. It was initiated by the German-based NGO WASH United in 2014 and aims to benefit women and girls worldwide.

This year, we want to establish the Menstruation Bracelet as a simple yet powerful global symbol for menstruation and menstrual hygiene Day.
GCCYF joined other NGOS across the world to celebrate this day at the GCCYF DIC where pads, menstruation bracelet and nose mask where distributed to the participant who consist of young girls.
