GOLDEN CHANGE FOR CONCERNED YOUTH FORUM WITH SUPPORT FROM INITIATIVE FOR EQUALITY (IfE)
IMPLEMENTS
“Pandemic Response Project” which is aimed at protecting the rights of Girls, Women and persons with disabilities during and after the pandemic in Alheri special village (a village for people living with disabilities), of Kwali Area Council FCT Abuja. It was an interactive session as participants voiced out on the various challenges they faced during the pandemic like: lost of Job, inability to sell their products (as markets were shut down), lost of lives, lost of means of livelihood) amongst others. There was enlightenment on personal hygiene, proper hand washing, do’s and don’t s of face mask, gender based violence etc.Hygiene promotional material, face mask, birthing kits and Vitamin A were distributed.
